Sony has shipped more than 50 million PlayStation 3

Sony announced on Friday that worldwide 50 million PlayStation 3′s now been delivered. The company from Japan also came with the news that its motion-sensitive controller PlayStation Move already been deliverd 8 million times.

The Japanese company also noted that there are currently more than 75 million PlayStation Network accounts and that there are now 480 million PlayStation 3 software titles sold.
